During the progress surgery yesterday I got some helpful feed back from Joe Gilmore about the book jacket designs.
He liked the design direction and style it is becoming, however didn't think it looked completed yet. Preferring the earlier designs with the serif font and with out the adobe hut. I agree the serif font does look more professional and stands well amongst the detailed rainforest vector.
So I have gone back to it to re work it and consider the type and layout more.
