It is getting close to the deadline now so I have decided to leave the designs as they are.
I do think they work visually as a set though, through the same font choices and illustrative style and similar layouts. However not with the James and the Giant Peach design, this is only because I think it was important to try and make the peach look Giant and this resulted in a different layout to the other designs. With more time I would focus more on the spines with consistency, perhaps add an image to the Fantastic Mr Fox Spine (chicken feather, so something from the story) and place in a similar position to the witches spine design. Or remove all imagery from the spines as the title and author are probably only needed.
